Teaching
Before leaving the fashion industry to pursue my career in puppetry, one of the l things I achieved was to set up a school to teach commercial tailoring to disadvantaged young adults. The Claremont School of Tailoring opened its doors in 1994 and went on to successfully give NVQ qualifications in garment construction to it's participants.
This experience has stood me in good stead for as well as teaching privately I also teach puppet construction to BA students at the Wimbledon School of Art on the Technical Arts and Special Effects course and costuming for puppets at The Little Angel Theatre.
